Swardman Edwin 95

New type of petrol-powered reel mower – Edwin 95 with a cutting width of 95 cm. Designed for mowing football pitches, golf courses, and large maintained lawns. It boasts an all-metal design that is engineered for heavy-duty mowing and frequent use. Fast ride speed and a wide working width ensure a theoretical mowing capacity of 7 885 m² per hour. The travel speed is up to 8.3 km/h while the cutting frequency amounts to 74 cuts per meter traveled. The robust handlebars, which are covered in soft plastic, make handling the mower easy and comfortable. The textile grass catcher ensures easy emptying of large volumes of grass. The standard equipment includes an eight-blade reel that ensures a precise cut.

Precision cutting.

Precise cutting is ensured by an eight-blade reel. Swardman reels are made from top-quality Czech steel and are hardened for maximum hardness and long life. The directional fins – together with the special blade geometry – guarantee the most even filling of the grass catcher. Grinding of the reels is done on professional automatic grinders, ensuring excellent sharpness.

Reliable Vanguard engine.

The mower is powered by the reliable American Vanguard engine made by Briggs & Stratton. The engine runs at 3 600 rpm and has an output of 4.85 kW. All this with minimal fuel consumption and low noise levels. Thanks to the sophisticated electric engine starter, you can start the mower conveniently at the touch of a button on the handlebar.

From the very beginning of the development, the focus was on meeting all the demanding requirements for mowing football pitches of different levels and qualities. Thanks to the rollers on which the mower moves, the pitch is constantly flattened slightly when mowing. However, unlike competing heavy and cumbersome machines, it offers a reasonable weight and does not impact the quality of the turf. The Edwin 95 will precisely mow the highest quality lawns, but at the same time it will help to bring lawns that are not in great condition, for example due to mowing with a rotary mower, to a new level.

Easy handling.

Although the mower is larger than other Swardman models, it is still easy to handle. Its sturdy handlebars are covered in soft plastic and feature vibration-dampening silent blocks. The rear roller is split into three parts, so handling and turning the mower is no problem at all.

Work efficiency.

The theoretical mowing capacity amounts to 7 885 m² per hour. This is thanks to a wide working width of 95 cm and a fast travel speed of up to 8.3 km/h. A standard-sized football pitch can therefore be mowed in 1 hour.*
